Ieri si è conclusa la sesta edizione del White Homme presso Superstudio Più in via Tortona a Milano.
L’evento vede ben 110 brands esporre le proprie collezioni in oltre 9000 metri di superficie.
Tra gli ospiti Makin Jan Ma, un artista poliedrico, originario di Hong Kong, trasferitosi a Londra all’età di 19 anni per completare gli studi. Come è arrivato a creare collezioni di abbigliamento? Scrivendo storie e sceneggiature.
Realizza film dalle sue storie e veste i suoi personaggi con le sue creazioni. I primi capi per i video sono nati dal desiderio di creare e comunicare con mezzi diversi e grazie alla passione per la regia.
Entrando nello spazio riservato alla collezione di Makin ho intuito subito il talento di questo artista emergente. Gli abiti esposti erano tutti stupendi; caratterizzati da estro e allo stesso tempo raffinatezza. Makin gioca con le forme, i colori e i tessuti in maniera superba.

Yesterday ended the sixth edition of the White Homme at Superstudio Più in Milan Via Tortona.
The event saw 110 brands exhibit their collections at over 9000 meters of surface.
Among the guests Makin Jan Ma, an eclectic artist, originally from Hong Kong, moved to London at the age of 19 years to complete his studies. He started to create collections of clothing in unusual ways: writing stories and screenplays.
He makes films from his stories and creates clothes for his characters. The early outfits for video are born from the desire to create and communicate with different means and thanks to the passion for art.
Going into the space reserved for Makin I immediately perceived the talent of this emerging artist. The clothes on display were all wonderful, characterized by flair and sophistication at the same time. Makin plays with shapes, colors and fabrics in a superb manner.
